If you’ve been stretching and strengthening but your back pain keeps returning, the root may be chronic muscle tension held in the nervous system.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how slow, guided somatic movements help release tension, improve mobility, and reduce compression in the spine.

ABOUT BETTY
Betty is a physical therapist and somatics practitioner who understands chronic pain from both sides—as a clinician and as someone who lived with persistent SI joint pain for years.
After traditional PT and chiropractic care provided only temporary relief, she discovered how the nervous system creates and maintains chronic pain patterns. This understanding transformed not only her own pain but her entire approach to helping others.
Betty combines her PT expertise with somatic movement education to address the root cause of tension patterns, helping people break free from pain cycles that conventional treatments haven't resolved. She works both in-person in Nantucket and online with clients worldwide.
